Privacy policy

Effective October 10, 2026

This policy explains what personal data the llmuse website (https://llmuse.app) and the llmuse app handle, why, and for how long. The website is run by UngRyeol Choi (we) and hosted on Cloudflare Pages.

Contact form

When you send a question, bug report or suggestion, we store:

  • the topic you picked and your message,
  • your e-mail address, if you enter one, so that we can reply,
  • the llmuse version, if you enter one,
  • the language of the page and the time you sent it.

We use this only to answer you, fix bugs and consider your suggestions. Messages are stored in a Cloudflare D1 database and deleted automatically one year after we receive them. We may delete a message earlier when it is no longer needed.

When a message is stored, we also get a short e-mail notice at hello@llmuse.app. It contains the topic, the first 500 characters of the message, your e-mail address if you entered one, and the llmuse version. Cloudflare Email Routing delivers it to our mailbox. We delete the notice together with the message, at the latest one year after we receive it.

To stop the form from being flooded, at most five messages per hour are accepted from the same connection. For this we keep a one-way hash of your IP address made with a secret key, never the address itself, and delete it after 24 hours.

The form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from automated scripts. Turnstile loads only when the form comes into view. Cloudflare then processes technical data about your browser and device under the Turnstile Privacy Addendum.

Download counter

When you download the installer, we add one to a count for that file and day. Nothing about you is stored with that count: no IP address, no cookie and no identifier.

Separately, to prevent download abuse and unexpected costs, we keep a daily-changing, secret-salted hash of your IP address (or your IPv6 /64 network prefix), a short-window request count and an expiry time in Cloudflare D1. We never store the raw IP address in this table. Records expire 24 hours after their last accepted counter update and are deleted in batches when later download requests arrive; deletion can take longer while there is no traffic. Requests are limited per connection and across the site. Downloads may temporarily stop when a limit is reached or the safety check is unavailable.

Visitor statistics

If Cloudflare Web Analytics is turned on for this site, it counts page views. It sets no cookies, doesn't use local storage and doesn't follow individual visitors.

Hosting, fonts and links

  • Cloudflare serves this site, stores the data above and delivers the feedback notices as our processor. Like any web server, it receives your IP address and browser details to deliver pages and protect them from attacks. Its servers are in many countries, including the United States. See the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.
  • The pages load the Inter font from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google, which receives your IP address. See the Google Privacy Policy.
  • The Buy Me a Coffee button is a plain link. If you support us there, Buy Me a Coffee handles your details and payment under its own privacy policy.

Page language

Pages open in your language. If you haven't picked one, we use the languages your browser sends with every request (the Accept-Language header), and if none of them is offered, the country that Cloudflare works out from your IP address. Search engine crawlers get English. These values only choose the language of the page you asked for and are not stored.

Cookies and browser storage

This site sets one cookie, lang, and only when you pick a language from the menu. It holds the language code, for example ko, is sent with each page request so that the page arrives in that language, and expires after one year. The same choice is kept in your browser's local storage as llmuse.lang. We don't store either of them, and nothing else is saved in your browser. You can delete both in your browser settings at any time.

The llmuse app

  • The app sends no personal data to us. Your recordings, projects and lyrics stay on your PC, and stem separation runs on your PC.
  • If the update check is on, the app downloads latest.json from this site once a day and compares version numbers. The request carries no account, device ID or usage data. You can turn the check off in Settings.
  • Voices, models, free instruments and plug-ins are downloaded straight from the sites that publish them. Their privacy policies apply.
  • If you connect an AI assistant over MCP, what the assistant reads from your project is handled by that assistant's service under its own terms.

Your rights

You can ask us to show, correct or delete a message you sent, or to stop using it. Write to the address below and tell us roughly when you sent it and which e-mail address you used, if any. Children under 14 need a parent's or guardian's consent before using the form.

Security

Everything is sent over HTTPS. Only we can read the stored messages, through our Cloudflare account. IP addresses are not stored.
